Items to be hydro dipped are prepped, then an automotive primer and base coat is applied.Some patterns have transparent areas that allow different color base coats to be used to give the pattern a different look or color match. |

Once the item has been painted, the pattern is placed if the hydro dipping tank and an chemical activator is applied to the film returning the ink to a liquid form. The item is then slowly dipped in to the pattern. |

After the item has been hydro dipped and dried, an automotive clear coat is applied. |
